Update on Elimination Communication

Naomi showed off her EC skills at Uncle Bubba's last week!
new dining area at Bubba's with glassed-in garage doors - LOVE!
Naomi is a sport yall.  We ate at Uncle Bubba's this past Friday night, and Naomi did not wet her diaper once while we were out and about! She actually walked up to me, pointed at her diaper, and I took her to the potty.  She tee-teed like a big girl and returned to the table like it wasn't a big deal at all!  Well, it pretty much WAS the biggest deal to me and her Deddy!  We still have "accidents" every once in a while, but almost always number one.  She has been great about wanting to go to the potty "to do her business."  And she really is great about wanting to stay dry.  I think that's the trick to all this EC business - an understanding that you want to STAY dry and not feel yucky.  She waves "bye!" at the potty every time too, making it a game of sorts.  Thank goodness this is working out.  I can't really imagine changing a number two diaper for a child much bigger than Omi for that much longer! :)
ok, so I should get better at taking my OWN photos since I carry my camera every where, but how cute is this?! :)
